Doctors Express Mount Vernon is owned and operated by Dottie & Earl Reed, long-time residents of Mount Vernon. Dr. Sarah John is the lead physician and is assisted by Dr. Joan Naidorf from Mount Vernon and several other physicians.
We are part of a national Doctors Express network. Our goal is to provide Alexandria, VA with a state-of-the-art urgent care center that bridges the gap between your primary care physician and the emergency room, for non life-threatening medical conditions. The walk-in center offers fast, effective and affordable care to patients needing immediate medical attention due to illness or injury. We accept most insurance, or self-pay.

- Average wait time to be seen is approximately 15-25 minutes.
- Bills average less than one-third the cost of an ER visit.
- No appointments needed, walk-ins are welcome.
