Meet our Medical Team

Earl Reed is a long-time resident of Mount Vernon. He has served as a fighter pilot with the US Air Force, opened a chain of drugstores in Moscow and as a US Air Force Officer, helped manage a $22 billion Military acquisition budget for Saudi Arabia. He looked at several other franchising operations before he decided on Doctors Express. “I really want to educate the Potomac side on what an urgent care clinic really is. It’s not just a ‘sniffle clinic’ but instead a complementary facility to the local Emergency Room and primary physician – not a competitor."

Dr. Joan Naidorf is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. She trained at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Emergency Medicine Residency through the Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia and the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She has served on the clinical faculty of The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Naidorf has practiced Emergency Medicine in Alexandria for 22 years and resides in the Mount Vernon area. She is married and has three lively teenagers.

Dr. Sarah A. John is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.  She received a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College, did her residency in Pediatrics at Maine Medical Center and  and completed her Fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center Hospitals. Dr. John has practiced Emergency Medicine in several locations for over 20 years and resides in Northern Virginia. She belongs to several professional associations and is author of various publications.
